Mr Mathews has given me the use of my wrist back! He truly is a GENIUS in his profession and a very nice guy. After having a major accident to my wrist which required 3 operations and lots of care Mr Mathews arranged everything that could possibly need taking care of. It was the most stressful and difficult time of my life - for me and my family. Phillip took the time to reassure me and my family through this, for which we are very grateful. He is very caring and understands the need of the pacient. He takes a great deal of time to go over everything and is very thorough. Phillip arranged everything and got it spot on to insure my wrist was fixed. I couldn’t be more grateful. He is the most professional and caring person I’ve ever come across in any profession and I would highly recommend him. Anish Patel

Mr Philip Mathew treated me for carpal tunnel and performed the release surgery. He was very friendly, approachable and attentive. During consultations Mr Mathew regularly asks if at that stage of the consultation there were any questions and drew simple illustrations to help explain procedures. Mr Mathew was very helpful when booking in for ultrasound and physio and although this might have delayed his other patients it was reassuring to know that on some occasions when he was running behind for my appointments that this was most likely due to the high level of care he provides to all patients.

After seeing several practitioners, I was recommended to visit Mr. Mathews for treatment for a carpal tunnel release procedure. The treatment and care I received from Mr Mathews was truly exceptional. Firstly, I'd like to say he is friendly, caring and above all approachable. In addition to this, he is clearly highly skilled in his field. But what I really liked was the way he took so much time and trouble to explain very clearly every aspect of the treatment he was giving me. I sincerely recommend Mr Mathews without any hesitation as he is quite simply an extremely nice guy who truly demonstrates outstanding expertise in his field of medicine.

After seeing a range of doctors and consultants, each one finding no problem, I was finally referred to Mr Mathew. From the very first appointment he was fantastic. He listened to me as an individual and at no point did I feel I was a statistic. My appointments were never rushed. The knowledge and ability Mr Mathew has is outstanding. He outlined within the first appointment the problems I was having and immediately offered a solution. The diagnosis was Ulner Styloid Impaction Syndrome and Pisotriquetral Osteoarthritis. I needed 2 operations to solve my wrist problems. I had my first Operation in December 2015, where he performed Ulner Shortening surgery. My 2nd operation was in July 2017. This was to remove the pisiform bone. Both operations were a complete success. At every stage Mr Mathew made sure I understood fully what the procedures entailed. Through different appointments and departments, Mr Mathew colleagues always spoke so highly of him and I had full confidence and the utmost trust in Mr Mathew. I cannot thank Mr Mathew enough for all his help, time and dedication to my personal wrist issues.
